Denise Holland, Harvest Hope Food Bank: I am the CEO of Harvest Hope Food Bank located in Columbia, SC. Harvest Hope Food Bank is serving 20 counties throughout central SC providing for over 400 member agencies that are food pantries, soup kitchens, emergency shelters and Kids Cafe programs. I have been serving in this capacity for 11 years, managing 6 locations with 80+ employees, utilizing over 125 volunteers weekly to distribute over 27 million pounds of food annually.I am active locally with the United Way and serve as Past Chair of the CEO organization of the United Way of the Midlands. I am a past board chair of the South Carolina Association for Non-Profits and was a prior board member to the Souper Bowl, a past member of the School Improvement Council for Airport High School and an active member of my church. I am a native of SC and a graduate of the USC and I am married with 2 children. Prior to coming to work at Harvest Hope Food Bank I was with the American Red Cross for 16 years.
